    • About the Team


    The founder of the company is an IT professional with 20+ years of software development experience. Before he found this company, he was a principal scientist in a large online retailer (More than 1 Billion in Revenue) and lead developer in various teams including search team, big data team and personalization team. He built a commerce search engine in 2011 with Apache Lucene / Solr, which beat a couple of commerce search engines. A year later, he built recommendation engine for the same online retailer with Apache Mahout and PIG on top of Hadoop, which beat third party recommendation engine in terms of revenue per visit and conversions.
